I was surprised to read in the instructions that a special drill bit was required for the latch installation. That drill bit was not stocked by my local hardware shop. I decided to make do with my 10mm standard drill bit. I had to enlarge the hole a bit. The latches are working well.

Not all bins have the same side lip depth where the rubber strap clips under. Bins greater in size than the common 240L bin have a deep lip and this needs to be shorten. If not shortened your drilling the 10mm hole on the very corner of the bin lid.
